Master Loggers must sign the Master Logger Code of Ethics. 2. Course Work Requirement Core Courses OSHA Safety Awareness Standard First Aid and Adult CPR (must remain current) Introductory Forestry/ BMPs/ Logging Aesthetics Continuing Education Courses Silviculture / Sustainable Forestry Wildlife Management / Endangered Species Game of Logging Advanced BMPs Forest Aesthetics (APAs video) Logger Activism Trucking Safety Operator Safety All core courses must be completed for Master Logger status. An additional eight credits of continuing education must be earned for renewal. 3. Harvest Site Review Two self-assessments are required within the two-year status period. 4. Renewal Requirements Application must be renewed every two years. A total of eight continuing education credits must be earned. Standard first aid and adult CPR must remain current. |
